Man Charged For The Murder Of 9 year Old Tyshawn Lee

Chicago police have identified the killer of a 9-year-old boy.

22-year-old Dwright Boone-Doty has been charged with first-degree murder charges in the death of Tyshawn Lee. 

Sources say Boone-Doty targeted, lured and executed the boy in an alley last November.

Cook County State's Attorney's Office announced the felony charges Monday night.

Boone-Doty has been charged with five felony offenses in connection with three separate cases, including the murder of Lee.

Boone Doty is charged with First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery with a Firearm in connection with the murder and attempted murder of Brianna Jenkins and Deshari Bowens, which occurred on October 18, 2015.

Boone Doty is also charged with Unlawful Delivery of an Illegal Firearm in an unrelated case.
