Entire Cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Fired – But is it a Bad Thing?

We all know the popular reality series Love & Hip-Hop on VH1, but everyone is familiar with the _________ of drama on Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta. However, in season 5 of the series, the cast may have gone too far.

According the Hollywood Reporter, producers are axing the entire cast of the show including series veterans – Mimi Faust, Stevie J, & Joseline Hernandez.  The decision was brought on by the chaos that took place during taping of the season.

While Atlanta may drop off the charts of the Love & Hip-Hop series, it may not be such a bad thing. The reality series has gone under fire for the misrepresentation of African Americans. Some call it just entertainment. Many have called it trash TV and so far no one is going to miss it.

There has been an issue in the entertainment industry of how African Americans are represented in television and film and Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta has been listed as part of the problem. With the constant catfights, cheating men, drama galore, and no positive light for African Americans to shine in, are we really missing anything with LHHATL going off the air?
