In a talk with 92.3 Los Angeles, Nipsey Hussle said that he's already working on a new solo album to follow up his studio debut “Victory Lap” and that he plans to drop a joint record with Meek Mill this summer.
He mentioned that the Meek Mill collaboration should drop in time for the summer and that putting together the album is just a matter of finding the time.
"We've been cutting ideas and just getting in. We got a couple records that's going to go off for the summer," he said. "It's not hard at all we just got to lock in and get the records done."
It will be interesting to see how this plays out, a joint project with two artists who are in their prime. Nipsey fresh of the The Grammy nomination, and since being released from prison its seems as if Meek is on another level. Releasing a classic project such as Champions. Not sure on a release date, but just know summer 2019 is already lit!
