Snoop Dogg's New Artist Clay James talks about signing and Big Boi producing his album

Georgia's rising hip hop artist Clay James dials in with Cody Mack to discuss his new deal with Rap Legend Snoop Dogg Doggy Style Records. The Southern Playa talks about his journey and how OutKast's Big Boi will work with him on producing his first studio album. Clay has a very Stylish swag, which is musch different from the average rap artist. His bow tie and love for Ralph Lauren comes to no surprise seeing that he is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. Everybody knows the Nupes are some fly individuals.

This is not Clay's first feature here on Whats The Word, some of you might remember him when him and  his partner Messiah kicked of our lyrical mini series titled BARS back in June of 2015. Since the first time I heard clay spit I knew he was going to be big. Signing this deal is just first of many. The Southern Playas duo brings a flavor to hip hop which hasn't been seen since Out Kast. Ironically, Clay James's mentor is Big Boi. As Clay stated in the interview he will work closely with the hip hop legend to make this first studio album a success. Clay James has a sound that Hip Hop needs, and I can't wait to see whats next. You can purchase his new single "Southern Playa Sh*t" right now on Itunes its also available for stream on Apple Music and Tidal.
