Chicago is turning up the heat!
Lifetime unveiled it's newest reality show Bringing Up Ballers on March 1 and one of the newest cast members is ready to make her dreams and ambition a reality for her and her son.
Johanna Leia, is mom to Amari, one of the nations top elite players in basketball that will be featured on the show. The vivacious former model and entrepreneur joins four other women, Nikki Burnett, Peytyn Wilbourne, Heather Williams and Tiffany Lynn as they navigate the cut-throat world of high school basketball along with managing everyday life as career women.
The latest chapter in the Networks reality series "follows these feisty moms who will stop at nothing to ensure that their businesses are successful and their boys are on track to make it to the NBA," Lifetime said in a statement.
Although the entrepreneur didn't have any preconceived notions as far as what to expect, she made sure to use her background in modeling as a way of discipline in somewhat volatile situations.
"I modeled for fifteen years and that background has made me really comfortable in my own skin," Leia said.
Leia credits her hard work and discipline that was passed down to her son Amari who is passionate and driven about his craft. "I don't have to do much of anything, he's pretty driven, every once in a while I get on him about school work but other than that he's great," Said Leia.
You can Johanna Leia "single and sexy" on Bringing Up Ballers" Wednesdays on Lifetime.
